very scared and a string of small profit and small loss. and 3 losing trades after the change of directionn shut me down.

Net -40

1800 shares

I'm so disppointed with my self this afternoon. I was doing very good in the morning. I waited for perfect setups, and slowly built a positive PnL, i already intended to quit to lock my hard earned profit and have a happy weekend. i was starting to write my jounal with a smile watching the market in the demo account. but then the seemingly downtrend made me greedy. I openned again the system then had 5 losing trades. I violated my rules.

I should only trade half day maybe, staying too long time in this markt definately made me insane.

I'd say your risk control is not bad. Your position is fairly large (to me) and the loss is always below 50 busks. Emotion control is not easy. If you have a strict trading rule, you may consider making a program to do it.

I'm trading 100 shares only, 1800 shares is 9 round trips. It is very hard to keep a calm state of mind for extended time. I might go for a prop firm for training. Experience of DT is way too expensive.

Indeed. Are you a full time day trader? how many trades do you have in a normal trading day?

9 RTs a day is too many, especially if you are just starting out.

I would consider paper trading for a couple of months.

One suggestion, if you have 2 back to back losses, stop trading for the day.

You also might want to look at your average loss/gain per trade as oppose to daily results. You daily loss is very small, but that may be a result of a large gain cancelled by a large loss.

Great suggestions. I want to suggest at most 3 round trips a day, and trade mostly between 9:45 and 11am.

Time period and trade frequency are good. I have similar style. He seems to trade stocks gapping up or down, I trade new high stocks.
